Summer-time is for enjoying outdoor activities, hitting the beach, and spending quality time with friends and family in the sun. But if you’re not careful, that time spent outside can have some serious short and long term effects on your skin: from unsightly red burns to increased risk of skin cancer.
Always make sure to use sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher – and opt for the natural kinds whenever you can. Sunscreen made with natural ingredients PHYSICALLY block UVA and UVB rays – whereas the chemical-laden options use chemicals that block the sun – but also absorb into your skin.
