5 Things Every Man Needs To Know To Stay Healthy!
Here are 5 simple rules that every man needs to know to STAY HEALTHY!
From man to man here are 5 things that you need to know to stay healthy.
1) EAT RIGHT FOR YOUR HEART
Most of us know how to eat healthy, but sometimes our impulses take over. You can always consult a dietitian or nutritionist to give yourself a better understanding of what foods are best for your lifestyle.

2) GET FIT
For overall Cardiovascular Health the American Heart Association Recommends
At least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity at least 5 days per week for a total of 150.
At least 25 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity at least 3 days per week for a total of 75 minutes; or a combination of moderate- and vigorous-intensity aerobic activity.
Moderate- to high-intensity muscle-strengthening activity at least 2 days per week for additional health benefits.

3) ANNUAL CHECK-UPS
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend:

By getting the right health services, screenings, and treatments, you are taking steps that help your chances for living a longer, healthier life.

4) HYDRATE! DRINK PLENTY OF H2O
How much water should you drink each day? It's a simple question with no easy answer.
Studies have produced varying recommendations over the years. But your individual water needs depend on many factors, including your health, how active you are and where you live.
The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is:
About 15.5 cups (3.7 litres) of fluids for men
About 11.5 cups (2.7 litres) of fluids a day for women
These recommendations cover fluids from water, other beverages and food. About 20 percent of daily fluid intake usually comes from food and the rest from drinks.

For health reasons it is recommended you use a glass or stainless steel water bottle that are BPA free. Check out your local Burlington Ontario shops for all your water bottle needs!
