How to make nut milk!
Nut milks such as almond, hemp and cashew are easy to make and you know exactly what is going into it!
At Rawlicious we make our own almond milk fresh each day to use in our delicious smoothies. Check out this easy recipe below to get started at home!
Step 1: Soak your almonds overnight
Step 2: Drain and rinse almonds in the morning (any leftover almonds can be rinsed and soaked again the fridge for future use)
Step 3: Blend 1/2 cup of almonds with 2 1/2 cups of water until no chunks remain
Steph 4: Strain through a nutmilk bag or cheesecloth and voila! We save the pulp for recipes such as cookies and tart crust which can be found in our recipe book!
If enjoying the almond milk on its own or with cereal try adding in a splash of vanilla or maple syrup.
