LNG Mega Project in Alaska

This is a long standing project which is expected to get big push in 2020. This three-train liquefaction plant will have 800 miles pipeline for supplying natural gas. From the Alaska’s North Slope gas field, this plant will derive 3.5 billion cubic feet of natural gas. The construction is going on a good pace, and it is expected to get ramped up with the increased demand for natural gas globally.

Rovuma LNG Project

Africa is enriched with natural resources, though the resources are unexplored. According to the global estimates, Africa’s natural resource mining industry will observe a big surge in upcoming days. At present, Rovuma LNG Project is regarded as one of the most important projects of the region. The contract for building the pipeline project was awarded to ExxonMobil in 2019. Once completed, this facility will produce around 15.2 million tons of LNG per year. In its initial construction phase, ExxonMobil is planning to invest around $500 million. The project is expected to be completed in 2025.

Al Zour Refinery

Oil is the backbone of the economy of Kuwait. In 2017, an ambitious project had commenced in Kuwait after a long delay. The project is Al Zour Refinery facility. This will be one of the biggest refineries of the world. According to the reports, this facility will use around 1.5 million b/d of crude oil to produce low sulfur fuel oil. This huge project will be completed in five phases.

South Pars Phase 13-14

South Pars is the largest gas field of the world, situated in Iran. The country is currently working on the phase 13 and 14 of this gas field. Once completed, the overall facility will have more capacity to produce natural gas. According to the reputed news magazine, this gas field will produce 3 billion cubic feet per day once the phase 13 and phase 14 are completed.
