Heel Pain in Children

When your child has pain, you may need to take action, as growing shouldn’t be a painful experience.

A healthy mix of bare feet and shoes are great when kids are growing. Footwear can often be the first place to start. Children can be affected by poor biomechanics just as adults can. Poor biomechanics in children can result in lower limb and foot problems.

For some diseases or injuries affecting children’s lower limbs, time and rest are the most important factors in the recovery process as the condition will self-resolve as the child grows. You may want to talk with a chiropodist to give you a better understanding.
