Mainway Physiotherapy has been operating for almost 6 years and is the recipient of several Burlington Posts Reader's Choice Awards.
With a strong focus on customer care and satisfaction, Andrew Hoermann, the owner and one of the physiotherapists (Fcampt Certified), has always been inspired in helping people in the community. Suffering a sports injury while attending university solidified Andrew’s commitment to not only assist people recover but also educate in injury prevention.
Mainway Physiotherapy offers a wide range of health services and specialized treatments including: physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic, golf injury treatment and prevention, pelvic health and team training. Golf injury assessment, recovery and prevention for players of all ages and levels combined with improving performance has been a driving distinction at Mainway Physiotherapy. Over the years, Andrew has also worked with the National Junior Boys Golf Development Team and for the Ontario Junior Golf Team. Clients also consult to obtain strengthening exercises for the off season. Andrew says: “The most important club in the bag is your body”.
The clinic has worked with sports teams, offering stretches, excercise and physio. Businesses have enlisted Mainway Physiotherapy in offering ergonomic seminars. They provide pelvic floor dysfunction treatment in women and men (issues of incontinence, pelvic muscle prolapses). They have worked with clients of all ages through concussion rehabilitation.
From the beginning and specifically during the Covid-19 pandemic, Mainway Physiotherapy has been flexible in adjusting their business to support their clients. After a brief gap during the Provincial shutdown in the Spring of 2020, they have adjusted to comply with regulations and ensure the safety and wellbeing of their patrons. In addition to in person staggered appointments, they have offered online virtual care where assessments and treatment can be performed.
This past year, Mainway Physiotherapy was able to revamp their website presence with the support of the Digital Main Street program offered through Burlington Economic Development. They credit their web designer, Beth Marchant for the new look and functionality. They also connected with their followers through Instagram, Webinars and Facebook.
