Happy Thoughts Happy Life
We are all the director of happiness in our lives. It is a choice how and what we think about. Thoughts are things, powerful vibrations that determine the voices in our head and what they are telling our selves. Since we have a choice, why not think happy thoughts and have a happy life at least more of the time.
I thought I would share a collection of some of my favourite happy quotes to create a little more happy in your day each time you read one. Feel free to copy them into a journal or come back and read them here.
Do you have a favourite quote that ignites your happy place?
Feel free to leave a comment below and we would be HAPPY to add them to our collection.
"If you want to be happy, BE." Leo Tolstoy
"I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it." Groucho Marx
When we think happy thoughts and use words and sentences to describe the feeling, it releases endorphins from the brain that actually create happy vibrations. Smiling does the same, so I hope you are smiling as you read these words from great authors, writers, and philosophers.
"The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts: therefore, guard accordingly, and take care that you entertain no notions unsuitable to virtue and reasonable nature." Marcus Aurelius
"It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness." Charles Spurgeon
"I am determined to be cheerful and happy in whatever situation I may find myself. For I have learned that the greater part of our misery or unhappiness is determined not by our circumstance but by our disposition." Martha Washington
