A River Edge Narrative: Marion Hasbrouck Murrin
Journey into River Edge
River Edge's citizens have done a great job in making sure that voices of the past were chronicled while they were still alive.
At the Borough website and at You Tube , one can find a number of video/oral histories of notable River Edgians. We hope to periodically share them with you.
This first offering is an interview with Marion Hasbrouck Murrin, a long time resident and a former kindergarten teacher at Cherry Hill School in River Edge, NJ. (Family tied to the founding of Habrouck Heights) The interview was conducted by Naomi Howitt on February 28,1997 for the River Edge Cultural Center as part of an Oral History Project.
