Don’t sleep immediately after eating
It is advised to the individuals having acid reflux symptoms to stay up after eating their meal. Eating hours before going to bed can help you not to accumulate acid in the stomach. So midnight meals and nap after lunch should be avoided.
Quit smoking and drinking
It negatively affects the esophageal passage in the body. Nicotine is strictly prohibited for individuals suffering from acid reflux.
Eat small portions
Eating a small portion at a time helps the stomach to relax. Eating small frequent meals in a day helps to balance the acid in the stomach and also your body weight.
