Even on a budget you can escape from the hustle and bustle and enjoy some of these wonderful places in and around Kelowna.
HOT SANDS BEACH - CITY PARK

Long sandy beaches, volleyball and basketball courts, grassy fields, playground, waterpark, skateboard park, washroom and change room facilities, on-site rentals. Live music during summer months (Parks Alive!) as well as local vendors & buskers. Although on-leash dogs are permitted on the boardwalk and pathways, dogs are not permitted on this beach.

Fintry Falls
Fintry Delta Rd, Vernon, BC
Fintry Provincial Park includes 360 hectares of the former Fintry Estate, a heritage site with a colourful history. From the delta area to a forested area made up of ridges and deep slopes, this park offers two dramatically different topographical areas. There is over 2 km of waterfront with surrounding mountains and deep canyons. Shorts Creek passes through a deep canyon creating a series of waterfalls and deep pools. With almost two kilometres of waterfront property, the park has opportunities for camping, swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking and wildlife viewing. Recreational users can enjoy the natural sand beach while wildlife viewers can hike the Canyon trail and view a variety of birds, small mammals, deer and bighorn sheep in the higher regions.

Crawford Falls is accessed via Canyon Falls Court, a short, but moderately challenging hike that snakes its way 1.5 km through the canyon. The canyon provides boulders to explore, and a couple stunning waterfalls! It’s a must-see for anyone exploring the region.

A place for anyone interested in Kelowna, BC, Canada. If you live here, lived here or want to know more about the place you are moving...The trail is located in the John Family Nature Conservatory in the Upper Mission area of Kelowna, this well-developed gravel trail goes up Cedar Mountain. From the top, hikers can take in spectacular views of Kelowna and Okanagan Lake. This is also an amazing place to watch the sunset!
