Rid Chronic Aches and Pains With Nutrition
Simply put, you need more or better nutrition if your knees hurt, back hurts, joints hurt to the point where it becomes chronic!
Nothing stops your efforts to lose those unwanted pounds like chronic aches and pains. When you feel tired and stiff in the mornings and it takes you a while to "loosen up" the last thing you want to do is go to the gym for a workout. But you must go to they gym right? You must exercise to lose that stubborn weight, right? Truth be told, if your knees hurt, back hurts, joints hurt to the point where it becomes chronic, your body is trying to send you a message. You're lacking in the raw materials needed to repair and restore your body my friend. Simply put, you need more or better nutrition!
Think about it, you were able to grow from a single cell into the magnificent creation that you are today. Your cells required macro and micronutrients to get the job done! The macronutrients required are carbohydrates, proteins and fats and the micronutrients required are vitamins, minerals and Antioxidants. Most people do an okay job with the macronutrients but a terrible, I repeat terrible job with their micronutrients. You need micronutrients to repair, restore and regrow ligaments tendons and tissues. Just because you advance in years your cells just don't all of a sudden forget how to do this. The problem is your micronutrients are missing from your diet hence your chronic aches and pains remain. It's not because you're getting old or some genetic predisposition; you're just missing building materials!
Micronutrients Are Your Mortar
You may have heard at least once or twice in your life that proteins are your body's building blocks. In other words your bricks and every good builder knows that you can't use bricks without mortar. Your micronutrients are your mortar! Unfortunately, there is no way around this, if you ignore it and continue to exercise something else will break or the pain will worsen. If you visit your doctor looking for pain relief or take over the counter medication to numb the pain it will still worsen. Why? Because your body needs it! I see so many men and women trying to use motivation and will power pushing their bodies to lose weight only to be worse off than when they started.
Meeting Your Bodies Needs
Meeting Your Body's Nutritional Needs
To be frank, you must meet your body's nutritional needs before you embark on a weight loss regimen that contains vigorous exercise. You must place a higher value on your body's nutrient needs and your current state of health than you do exercise. After all, losing stubborn weight has more to do with your health, nutrition and emotional state of being than exercise. When you place high demands on your body with exercise, you must match those high demands with nutrition. You can't leave this up to chance in hopes that you will get all the nutrient requirements from food because the reality is, we're not. Even organic foods can still be void of nutrients. Your body needs 16 vitamins, 12 amino acids, 2-3 essential fatty acids and 60 minerals on a daily basis. Perhaps you're missing the mark?
Are You Missing Minerals?
To be clear let's have a look at the 60 essential minerals needed by the body as this is the problem for many individuals. Below you will see a list of all of the minerals you need to function at your best. Most people, if they are lucky, have 20 of these minerals.
Aluminum Arsenic Barium Beryllium Boron Bromine Calcium Carbon Chloride Cobalt Copper Cerium Cesium Chromium Dysprosium Erbium Europium Gadolinium Gallium Germanium Gold Hafnium Holmium Hydrogen Iodine Iron Lanthanum Lithium Lutetium Molybdenum Manganese Magnesium Neodymium Nickel Niobium Nitrogen Potassium Selenium Sodium Sulfur Rhenium Rubidium Samarium Scandium Silica Silver Strontium Tantalum Terbium Thulium Tin Titanium Vanadium Ytterbium Yttrium Zinc Zirconium Oxygen Praseodymium Phosphorus
But I Take A Calcium Supplement
Most people when they have chronic aches and pains by way of their joints they go out and purchase a calcium supplement. However, most calcium supplements are synthetically made and will not be absorbed by the body. Therefore, you will get little to no results. Besides the problem of a poor quality supplement, you just don't need calcium to get the job done. In addition to a plant-based calcium, you need: magnesium, vitamin D, vitamin K2, strontium, boron and more. Simply put, you need to take conscious effort of the macro and micronutrients that go into your body or you won't be able to rebuild, regrow and repair tissue. You must consume 16 vitamins, 12 amino acids, 2-3 essential fatty acids and 60 minerals on a daily basis plus ensure you're eating a good organic whole foods diet in order to rid the body of chronic aches and pains. Just taking a calcium supplement isn't enough, especially if it's poor quality!
As I stated earlier, don't leave this up to chance even if you're eating a healthy diet. Currently, I would still recommend you take a high-quality supplement as an insurance policy to make sure you're meeting your body's nutrient needs. The fact that you have chronic aches and pains goes to show you that something is missing from your diet. Think of how great you would feel to move around without pain. How nice it would be to start your mornings pain-free! Certainly, the exercise you enjoy that will contribute to your weight loss will be much easier to execute!
