Instructions:
For the Donut:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Prepare a donut pan by spraying cooking spray.
- Combine the salt, baking powder, baking flour, and sugar in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, vanilla, oil, and milk until smooth. Slowly stir in the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Get a piping bag and transfer the batter. If a piping bag is not available, you can use a Ziploc bag and cut one corner.

For the Base Icing:
- Place the candy melts in two separate bowls along with the vegetable shortening. Let them melt in the microwave for at least minutes. For best results, stir every 30 seconds.
- Transfer the melted chocolates in a shallow dish that fits the donuts. Dip each donut into the chocolate for a few seconds.
- Place on a cooling rack to cool.
For the Royal Icing:
- In another mixing bowl, combine the meringue powder, powdered sugar, water, and food coloring. Use an electric mixer to achieve a matte appearance.
- Divide the icing into two and place them in separate bowls. Add a few drops of the pink and red food coloring.
