My 5 Favourite Essential Oils!
Legendary for it's ability to promote a restful sleep, reduce anxiety and stress, as well as take the sting out of small burns, insect bites, skin abrasions and such. If you only own ONE oil, this should be it!
Peppermint clears the mind, reduces fatigue, and gives you a second wind. Also great for subduing muscle pain and headache relief. Combine this with lavender and eucalyptus for headaches! NOTE: not for children under 2 years.
Eucalyptus supports good respiratory function and is very antimicrobial and antiviral. Have a cold? Eucalyptus is excellent to thin mucus and clear congestion. It is also good for body aches, especially when combined with peppermint. Add in lavender, and you have first-class headache relief. NOTE: not for children under 2 years.
(4) Tea Tree
Tea tree oil is famous as a disinfectant. It can disinfect small cuts and abrasions, as well as your countertop and other hard surfaces!
Tea Tree Plant!
(5) Sweet Orange
An instant mood lifter! Also it has antiseptic qualities, so you can sweeten your disinfectant mix with this oil. Useful for colds and flu as well, as it has antiviral and antibacterial properties.
Remember: NEVER apply essential oils undiluted. NEVER ingest essential oils. Keep oils out of the reach of children and pets. Finally, use caution when using peppermint or eucalyptus - these two in particular should not be used around children under 2 years of age.
