Time to Introduce Blom Contracting

Why the name Blom, you ask? The Blom name is a tribute to Nick’s grandfather, my dad, Nicholas Blom, who passed away in 2008. Nick knew that the honesty, integrity, respect for people and hard work ethic that his grandfather exhibited throughout his life were the same founding values Blom Contracting was to be built on, and continues to stand on today. There was no question that the company name would take on his grandfathers. Grandpa would be proud.

Not only do we transform spaces but we do our part to transform lives as well. Blom Contracting believes in giving back and providing awareness to charities, associations and rare diseases in need. We are currently involved with and support Habitat for Humanity, The Family Violence Project, Kids Country Club, Kidsability, Cystic Fibrosis and The PMD Foundation. Recently the team of Blom Contracting and their subtrades were humbled to meet Wyatt, a 10 year old boy who has severe quadriplegic cerebral palsy. The result of his mother, contracting CMV (Cytomegalovirus) while pregnant. Working together, our team donated time and material to a family with a very limited budget, and provided Wyatt with a functional and safe washroom to meet his needs - making a difference in this little boys’ life.

Nick and I, and our team, are committed to making a difference in the homes and the lives of all the people we touch. To all the clients who have invited us into your homes and businesses, we thank you for giving us the opportunity to create your new space and for the lasting relationships we have formed. To those of you we have not yet had the pleasure of meeting - we hope it happens soon. Looking forward to hearing from you.
