Live Life With Grace And Ease – What does that mean?
How to Live Life with Grace and Ease, while raising young kids, running your own business, dealing with people who drive you crazy, and much more.
I’ve been thinking lately...
The tag line for my business You Have A Life Plan is “Live Life With Grace And Ease”.
But, do I live life with Grace and Ease?
What does it mean to live life with Grace and Ease?
Does it mean to live an easy life?
Is it even possible to live an easy life with two young kids (and another on the way)? Especially when you are trying to Support Their Light (my other business – A Service for Parents with Sensitive Kids) and not squash their spirit in order to make them behave the way society expects them to behave?
Maybe the answer is NO. Or maybe the answer is in the definition.
I watched (part of) this video and I got my answer:
The difference between a Vision and a Goal - Simon Sinek
This video says, the vision for your business is actually not quite attainable. If it is attainable, then it is a goal. If it is your focus point on the horizon, because you are trying to build a world that doesn’t exist yet, then it may not be 100% attainable 100% of the time, but it is still your guide.
So, to Live Life With Grace And Ease is my vision.
And when I think of the Grace and Ease I have gained, well:
- I know myself through and through.
- I know my needs.
- I know why certain people affect me the way they do.
- I know how to take care of myself.
- I know what societal rules really do not matter to me at all.
- I know what I can attain in life and what there is no point striving for because it is not what I am built for.
And I know my kids!:
- I know where they are headed.
- I know their light at the end of the tunnel.
- I see who they can become, if I can just support them to get there.
- I see their magic and can watch out for the pitfalls, and
- I Support Their Light.
Yes, for sure, there are hard times. I would not be in this business if I had it easy. If my kids didn’t drive me nuts and my family/partner weren’t challenging to deal with at times (though they are all wonderful people and contribute a lot, to many aspects of my life).
Life is a challenge for me, because if it wasn’t, I would have no basis to speak from, no life experience to see which strategies work and which do not, and no ability to grow.
So, is it a Life With Grace And Ease?
For the most part, in the big picture, YES.
I go through my day to day so grateful for what I know and what I am able to do, I struggle, and I feel good, because I know, at the end of the day, I see my kids for who they are, and we are in this together.
If you are interested in this level of understanding of yourself and your family, so you too can have “Live Life With Grace And Ease” as your long term vision, I invite you to send me a message using the comment box below.
