What If the Bible Is God's Direct Message? Steve Munsey

It would be in our best interests to pay attention to what the Bible says if it were a direct communication from God.

It would be in our best interests to pay attention to what the Bible says if it were a direct communication from God. We should read and understand it, but we must also follow its instructions.

There are several reasons why we believe the Bible is from God. Here are a few things to think about.

God does not absolve the sins of His saints. Both their bad and good sides are depicted in the Bible. A human author would never do this.

God informs us that He delivered His message to "holy men" so that they may communicate with others. God is truthful. "Holy men of God," wrote what God told them so that we may understand Him and His plan for our life.

According to senior pastor of Family Christian Center Steve Munsey, all of the Bible's prophesies have come true or will come true. With over 300 references to Jesus' first coming in the Old Testament Scriptures, which tell us everything from where He was to be born to His resurrection from the dead and which were given to us hundreds of years before Jesus was born, the odds of all 300 prophecies being fulfilled by chance would be on the order of 3 followed by 623 zeros. God could have only known these specifics of Jesus' first coming. This is definitive proof that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

The Bible contains several direct quotes from God. The Bible frequently uses phrases like "the Lord's Word came to me," "so saith the Lord, the Lord said," and so on.

The Bible's scientific expressions are accurate to the facts. These facts were recorded during a period when the authors lived in a culture that was unfamiliar to them. This is well demonstrated in Genesis 1 and 2. "Are we going to believe God's account of His creatures or the lies of the science falsely so-called' crowd?" is the question.

There is no dispute between what they say, even though over 40 persons wrote what God taught them. They all send the same message.

Jesus is exactly who the Bible says He is. The Christian New Testament Bible is the best source for learning about Jesus. The historical account of Jesus in the Bible is consistent with secular history.

People who follow the Bible's instructions live better than those who do not. Those who follow the Bible's instructions live a prosperous, wealthier, and happier life than those who ignore God. Through the Bible, God speaks to people from all generations. The Bible protects us from many things that might be harmful to us and others.

I strongly advise everyone to read the Bible. You'll be pleasantly pleased with how better it is than any other book. The significance of the ancient Hebrew celebration known as the Day of Atonement, a memorable day to honor God for all he has done, is explored in Pastor Steve Munsey's book 7 Blessings of the Atonement.
