Andrew Hoermann



Andrew Hoermann is the proud owner of Mainway Physiotherapy in Burlington, Ontario. In 2001, He graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy. He has worked as a Registered Physiotherapist both in the Halton and Peel regions. He has experience treating clients of various ages with a wide assortment of conditions and injuries. Andrew was the prior co-owner of Millcroft Physiotherapy for 10 years. Along with his degree in Physiotherapy, Andrew has his CSCS certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Andrew is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (F.C.A.M.T.) by successfully completing his diploma in Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. For the past number of years, Andrew has worked with both the National Junior Boys Golf Development Team and the Ontario Junior Golf Team. As well as, worked with professional female and male golfers. Andrew has completed his level 5 certification with FitforeGolf and level one with the Titleist Performance Institute. Andrew loves to spend time with his family. He also enjoys biking, skiing, golfing and exercising on a regular basis.

Jacqueline Barrington mainway physiotherapy burlington



Jacqueline is a Graduate of King's College Hospital, London, England, in Physiotherapy. Owner of Erin Mills Physiotherapy Clinic from 1983 until 2007 and has been in sole practice since that time. Jacqueline's work concentrates on helping people heal using integrative manual and cranio-sacral therapy techniques. She has pursued these fields throughout her career, taking many training sessions in these techniques in both Canada and the United States with the Upledger Institute, The Barral Institute and the Connecticut School of Integrative Manual Therapy. Her passion is to help clients heal and rehabilitate from all kinds of injuries. Types of Conditions she treats include concussion, tempero-mandibular joint dysfunction, chronic pain, birth trauma, chronic ear infection, vertigo and stress disorders.

Allan Hewick mainway physiotherapy burlington



Allan became interested in exercise physiology as a teenager while training for competitive whitewater kayak slalom. He pursued his passion with a degree in Physical Education (Exercise Physiology) at McMaster University. He remained at McMaster for another degree in Physiotherapy, focusing on the treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunctions and sports injuries. His training includes formal acupuncture certification, orthopaedic manual therapy courses, concussion rehab and specialized exercise program design. Each adds to the clinical toolbox of experience that he brings to every treatment session. Equally, important are his skills of listening, communicating and relating in a way that enlightens and empowers his clients to be better CEOs of their own health. Allan’s hobbies include hiking, mountain biking, renovating, kayaking, tennis and anything outdoors. No matter your job, hobby or sport, chances are that he has played alongside, or treated someone in your situation. With over 25 years, helping each new client is still intriguing and rewarding. Cara Cutaia mainway physiotherapy burlington



Physiotherapy Resident

Cara graduated with her Masters of Physiotherapy from The University of Canberra in Australia. Before pursuing her Masters, Cara attended Eastern Michigan University where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science while on a Division 1 soccer scholarship. Cara has a strong passion for sports and working with all types of athletes, especially after growing up playing competitive soccer, basketball and volleyball. This year, she was a Therapist for the Hamilton United League 1 Women’s Soccer Team and plans to pursue her Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy to get more involved with elite level sports. Cara integrates manual therapy techniques with exercise prescription and patient education in her treatment plans. By doing so it helps optimize movement and function to prevent future injuries. Cara’s goal is to continue her education in Manual Therapy, and Acupuncture. She also plans to finish her Masters in Sports Nutrition.

Meghan has just finished her final placement of her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. Prior to pursuing her Masters, Meghan attended Wilfred Laurier University where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and Physical Education. Meghan has a passion for helping individuals get back to what they enjoy most and has taken an interest in both the community and acute hospital setting. Meghan has taken introductory courses in both Soft Tissue Release and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and is looking forward to a career filled with life-long learning opportunities. Meghan enjoys being active and traveling with friends and family. You will now see Meghan back in the clinic more frequently and she will begin her role as a Physiotherapy Resident this October. She is looking forward to working with the new members of the Mainway team and to put her skills into practice.
