Answers to your questions on Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers are used to fill in wrinkles, add volume to lips, give a slight lift to sagging skin and fill in contour irregularities.
One of the most common compounds used in dermal fillers is hyaluronic acid. HA is a naturally occurring substance found in our skin, and it plays a major role in keeping skin hydrated and volumized. HA fillers, depending on their specific chemical makeup, can last from six months to much longer before being gradually absorbed by the body.
Secret Faces provides Saypha®, Restylane, and Teosyal®. Each product used for Dermal Fillers, is uniquely formulated to have a certain texture, density, and injection depth, and work better for certain areas of concern.

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
Is the treatment uncomfortable?
The injections are done with very fine needles. Your practitioner can apply an anaesthetic cream for added comfort prior to your treatment.
Are there possible side effects?
Injectable fillers are compatible with your skin and manufactured under the strictest safety protocols. You will typically be able to return to daily activities immediately after your treatment. You may experience some post-treatment temporary tenderness, redness, swelling or bruising in the injected area. These symptoms are usually mild, diminishing each day, and will disappear within seven days.
How long will my results last?
The results are long-lasting! Depending on the specific injectable product used, the injection area and the individual dispositions of the skin, the results can last for several months and up to a year.
What are the different Types of Filler?
Secret Faces uses a variety of different filler types, from Saypha®, Restylane, and Teosyal® suitable for use in order to:
• Reduce lines and wrinkles
• Create more defined or fuller lips,
• Define the contours of your face, such as chin or cheek,
• Boost your skin’s vitality, for a healthier more hydrated skin tone on the face, hands, neck, or décolletage
Who cannot use Filler?
Dermal fillers should not be used in or near areas where there is or has been skin disease, inflammation, or skin-related problems. It is not recommended to use fillers or anti-wrinkle injectables if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. People with particular medical conditions, or those undergoing immunosuppressive therapy may not be good candidates for any treatments or procedures that require a skin injection procedure, due to the risk of infection.
What if I’m not sure exactly what I need?
This is where your practitioner’s skill and experience come into play. It is a collaboration – you and your practitioner discuss together a treatment plan to get the results you are looking for.
