5 Easy Ways to Launch Your Business Online

No website? You can still be online to give your business some web presence. Your own website is still the best because you own it!

Now more than ever having a web presence is important to give exposure to your business.  Here are five easy ways to get online, although unless you have you have your own website, you are only renting the space.

Get a Free Google My Business Listing

With a Google My Business Account, you get more than a business listing. Your free Business Profile lets you easily connect with customers across Google Search and Maps.

Here is a link to get set up:

A YELP Business Listing

It’s free to set up and manage a business profile on Yelp. However, you will have to pay $1 per day for business page upgrades, such as adding a call to action (CTA) button or removing competitor’s ads from your page, and $600 per 1,000 impressions if you choose to use Yelp advertising.

Set Up A Business Facebook Page

Many businesses only have a facebook business page.  You can answer messages, set up your hours, write blog posts, add photos, get reviews of your business all from this one spot.  You can share your business information to your personal timeline to get additional exposure for your business

Facebook & Instagram Shops

Just announced by facebook, you can now sell directly in a "shop" format directly from your facebook or instagram business pages.  Facebook links you directly with payment gateways so you can accept credit cards (for a fee, of course), but this could be the first place you set up your shop.

YouTube Channel

You don't need fancy equipment to take a video.  Your cellphone will work just fine.  During the pandemic, all kinds of celebrities are launching videos on YouTube right from their home.  These unscripted videos are actually more appealing than the kind we normally see.  They show raw authenticity which is very refreshing.
