For assessing the engineering experience of the users of the assessment system in engineering competency of the Association of professional engineers

For assessing the engineering experience of the users of the assessment system in engineering competency of the Association of professional engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan, this guidance is intended to help. These aims in helping the submission of competency of professional engineering applicants along with guiding the validators and assessors in examining, validating, and assessing the submissions. The content assists you to achieve a better understanding of the competencies of engineers along with the way they should be fulfilled and presented in a self-assessment of competency.

In case you are a multinational graduate applying for the status of an engineer in training, APEGS will let you understand in the case an academic evaluation is required after achieving your WES credential evaluation. In case you are an international graduate going for a Geoscientist-in-training role, an academic evaluation is always needed. The assessment of the WES credential gives APEGS verification of the accuracy and authenticity of the academic documents of an individual and a differentiation of the level and degree of your program compatible with the system of Canadian education. WES does not evaluate the content of the program. This assessment undertaken by APEGS aims to differentiate your program's content from Canada's requirements for licensure.

Who can make use of the system of competency assessment?
